At ZenMatrix, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. ZenMatrix is designed as an offline-first, local-first utility application to help you organize and prioritize tasks using the Eisenhower Matrix methodology.

1. Data Collection and Storage

By default, all task details, descriptions, notes, and Pomodoro focus logs are stored strictly locally on your own device using browser storage (LocalStorage). We do not collect, monitor, store, or sell any of your task data to external servers.

2. Cloud Synchronization (Optional)

ZenMatrix includes optional cloud synchronization features (via custom Firebase setups or local Wi-Fi sync servers). If you choose to enable these:

• Your data is synced directly between your device and your own private Firebase account/server.
• We do not have access to your Firebase credentials or the database tables hosted on your personal instances.

3. Automated Email Summaries

If you utilize the automated weekly email reminder features:

• Email addresses are saved locally on your device to pre-populate dispatch forms.
• Emails are sent directly through your local mail client, or securely routed through your personal Cloudflare Worker email proxy. No email addresses or message contents are logged or stored by ZenMatrix.

4. Third-Party Services

ZenMatrix does not include third-party advertising, analytics tracking SDKs, or data brokers. The application utilizes secure Google Firebase SDKs exclusively for syncing tasks if configured by you.

5. Security

Since your data is stored locally, its security relies on your device's security. If you enable Firebase synchronization, your data security is governed by Google Firebase security rules.
